Our Newly Elected Officials Course (NEOC) Registration is officially open! Encourage your elected officials to commit to local government excellence by attending the most comprehensive, non-Partisan educational program designed exclusively for elected officials on their roles and responsibilities. NEOC begins in December 2025 and provides new and veteran officials with the tools and knowledge they need to best serve their constituents.
Save some room for seconds, as our Municipal Intern Program Applications are open. Program applications are now being accepted. This capacity building program helps train the next generation of public servants. If you have a worthwhile community project consider the benefits that your municipality, council of government, or municipal authority could reap with the help of an undergraduate or graduate intern this summer!
Finally, savor one last bite of the 2025 PACOG webinar series before the year is over with December’s event highlighting the Mercer County Councils of Governments and their transit system! Everchanging public funding is creating changes in public transportation usage and shifting commuter patterns.
