Local Government Academy Summer Workshop Series
Budgeting, personnel management, and community relations are challenging local governments on any given day, but during a pandemic? No, it’s not “business as usual,” and our local leaders have stepped up to the plate to calmly address the crisis gripping the world right now. Over the last several months, with little to no guidance, local governments quickly responded, and, as a result, our region demonstrates the collective strength of collaboration.
While our communities are faced with decisions that will have a lasting impact, Local Government Academy, in partnership with the Allegheny League of Municipalities, is excited to announce a Summer Workshop Series to offer guidance to local governments in the age of COVID-19.
The Summer Workshop Series is a valuable professional development opportunity for local government officials and staff. Join us to hear credentialed professionals explain the complexities associated with recent legislation, subject matter experts who will share techniques to assess financial impacts, and more!
Registration for the Summer Workshop Series is open to local government officials and staff. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
Summer Workshop Series topics are subject to change. Registration for all upcoming webinars can be found by clicking here. Details for classes will continue to be updated as they become available.
