Many thanks to Allegheny County Boroughs Association for inviting Local Government Academy Executive Director Susan Hockenberry to make a presentation on the work of the Municipal Pension Task Force at their December 10, 2015 Meeting.  Many of the recommendations made by the task force, which Hockenberry participated in in June of 2015, have made their way into HB 414, which would amend the Municipal Pensions Funding Standard and Recovery Act.  On November 18, the PA Senate Finance Committed voted to incorporate language of 2 other pension reform bills into HB 414, which has already passed the House.
