Just like everything else in 2020, the Presidential Election broke records. While ballots are still being counted and results are trickling in, it’s already time for us to think about how to Run for Office in 2021.

Just one year from now, the municipal election cycle will usher in a new slate of elected officials. In a few months, prospective candidates will begin filing the required paperwork to declare their candidacy for local office. Each year, we encourage people to do their civic duty and vote. This year, after participating in the democratic process to select our state and federal leaders, keep in mind that it is our local council members, commissioners, and supervisors who are responsible for delivering essential services that we rely on every day.
