The 2022 internships have been announced! Grads and undergrads looking for a summer internship can now submit their applications to the 2022 Municipal Intern Program. This year, we’ll also be on the lookout for an intern! Click here to see the projects.
What is the Municipal Intern Program (MIP)? MIP is a competitive program designed to give graduate and undergraduate students an introduction to public sector employment opportunities while providing much needed capacity to local governments.
A sample of this year’s projects:
- Blight Mitigation and Community Development
- Capital Improvement Planning
- Water Quality Screening & GIS
- Housing Market Analysis
- Safe Mobility Plan strategizing
