Local Government Academy’s Municipal Intern Program is seeking dynamic placement site applicants for Summer 2027! Eligible hosts include municipalities, councils of governments, and municipal authorities across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

In 2026, 100% of Municipal Intern Program Placement Sites

• Report Municipal and Community Benefit
• Expect to apply to the program in the future
• Recommend the program to a colleague

Join us on October 21st at noon for our virtual pre-project application meeting, we will discuss the placement site application process, program expectations, and best practices.
